Born in Dominion she was the daughter of the late Alex and Jean Miller.
For many years she was employed at Eatons in Glace Bay and a member of the UCW at Knox United Church.
Surviving are loving husband Edison Donaldson, daughter Michele (Gary) Murphy; grandchildren Natasha (Todd) Murphy, Gary (Rita) Murphy and Ashley Murphy; great grandchildren Riley, Jaleigh, Jaxon and Layla; sister Jean Bert(Ottawa); sister-in-law Erma Uhryniw and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a grandson in infancy Bernard Edison Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St, Glace Bay. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday October 18 at 2pm in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Ralph Johnston officiating.
