Justin Jenkins

It is with heavy hearts that we the family of Justin Jenkins announce his passing. Justin passed away peacefully at the Glace Bay Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday Jan. 18, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Newfoundland, he was the son of Roy Jenkins and Wanda (Walton) Russell.

He will be sadly missed by his mother Wanda, step dad Tommie, dad Roy. Also left to mourn Grandmother Leah Jenkins(N.L) ,sisters Jennifer (Max), Calyssa (Matt) at home. Bothers Jeffery (Laura) N.L, Richard (Mikaela) Ont. Also left to mourn are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including very special aunt, Wendy (Tupper) Chaput and special cousin and friend, Tammy (Mic) AuCoin , nieces Julie and Guncle’s special Angel Brooklyn, and special four legged friend Missy. Justin was a graduate of Glace Bay High, class of 2006. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and enjoyed spending time with family “ out on the Mira “.

Justin was predeceased by maternal grandparents Richard and Mora Walton and paternal grandfather Alex Jenkins.

In honoring Justin’s wishes there will be no visitation, Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St. Glace Bay.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday Jan. 23,2012 at 2pm in St. Lukes United Church Donkin, with Rev. Chris Matheson officiating. Interment at St. Lukes United Church Cemetery.
