Shirley White

Born January 29, 1937 in Glace Bay, Shirley was the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Marten) Mitchell. She was raised by her step-mother Lila Mitchell.

Shirley worked from a young age until retirement, at the Glace Bay General Hospital. After retirement, she loved to travel to Bangor and Ontario to see her nephew Watson. Shirley was always there to help everybody and her family was number one to her. Shirley also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog Trapper.

Shirley is survived by daughters Doreen (Blair) Cole, Brenda (Raymond) MacNeil special daughter-in-law Muriel Lochman and brother Sheldon (Mitchell), grandchildren, Kim (Noel), Bradley (Krista), Cory (Jasmine), Helene (Brad), great grandchildren Brandon, & Candace Cole, Neil, Colin & Fiona Smith, Micah and Jalissa.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Gordon "Moe" White, sons Gordon

"Bimbo", and Blair, sisters Hazel, Lila, Doreen and Etta, brother Harry and nephew Watson, who was like a son to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
