

It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Warren Miller Rose on November 30,2017.
Born in Germany on the Canadian Military base, he was the son of Warren and Mona Rose who now reside in Ontario.
Warren served 21 years in the Canadian Military spending most of his time as a Sailor in the Navy and upon his retirement he worked in management at the Field Aviation in Calgary. In 2007 Warren moved to Cape Breton to take the love of his life Wanda home to her family, after living a military’s wives life. Upon moving to Cape Breton Warren found a great passion for Cross Roads, who became his extended family, volunteering countless hours of his time helping anyone who needed him. Warren had a big heart which he extended to animals, he is now reunited with China and sadly missed by Cuddles.
Warren was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 78 (Dominion) were he finally found a true Navy Friend Wayne Hynes, with whom he enjoyed playing cards with and going to Friday Night mixed darts at the Legion.
Warren is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Wanda; proud Dad of his son Jason (Bryanne); his pride and joys granddaughters Tiffany and Serenity; parents Warren and Mona Rose; sisters Darlene and Terry (Rick); brothers Pat (Lydia) and Mark; parent in laws Winston and Olie Timmons; sisters in law Wenda (Darren), Heather (Gerry), Marlene (Jimmy) and Marie; brothers in law Bernie (Loretta) and Raymond (Lillian) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Warren was predeceased by his sister Cindy Rose.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 5,2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 6 at 11am in Immaculate Conception Church with Father Devereaux officiating. Family flowers only, in lieu of flowers donations in Warren’s memory can be made to Cross Roads.
