A. C. Goodson

A.C. was first married to Anita Schimek, February 20, 1950 and moved to Kansas City from Oklahoma where he had three children and started his life long career with the Gas Service Company.

A.C. married Josephine “Jo” Kelley in September 1982.

He loved traveling, fishing, hunting and thrift store shopping!

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anita; his second wife, Josephine; his parents, Chester and Grace; his brothers, Walter Orr, Charles Orr, and Carrol Orr; granddaughter, Dawn Goodson; and step grandchildren, Benjiman Kelley and Donna Jo Simons.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Jeri) Goodson of Independence, MO & Daniel (Tammy) Goodson of Bellevue, NE; his daughter, Cindy (Rick) Elling of Parkville, MO; step-son, James (Sheila) Kelley of Saint Cloud, FL; step-daughter’s, Barbara (Steve) Hayden of Apple Valley, UT & Betty Kelley of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; brothers, Harold Orr of Midwest City, OK, James Orr of Castle, OK, & Randy Orr of Atoka, OK and sisters, Renee Alcorn of Welty, OK & Alice Alcorn, Okemah, OK.

Visitation will be Friday February 25, 2022 from 5-7pm at White Chapel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday February 26 at 9 AM at the funeral home (6600 NE Antioch Road

Gladstone, MO 64119).
