Alana was a beautiful soul with a smile that can light up a room and make you feel loved. She lived her life through her faith in God, her devotion to her children, being kind to others and especially through her dedication and love for her husband, Ariel for 58 years. Alana was a talented artist. She attended Ruskin high school and pursued a degree in fine arts while attending CMSU, secured a job at the Geological Survey, which she loved. She met the love of her life Ariel Camacho through her brother Jim, as he was studying to become a civil engineer. Alana eventually started working for Hallmark cards using her talent designing cards up until the time she gave birth to her first-born child Christina, and from there, she dedicated her life to her children as a full-time mom. Alana loved spending time with their family. She was a woman of faith and was active in the church. She loved to sing in the choir, play guitar, enjoyed going on walks with the many dogs that we had growing up. Her proudest family moments were watching her children’s accomplishments, from grade school to establishing careers and then becoming a grandma. Alana would like to be remembered as a sweet, kind, loving, always thinking of others first woman of faith, and one who loved us unconditionally.
