

In loving memory, Allen Junior Hunt, aged 81, peacefully returned to his heavenly home on January 24, 2024. His enduring devotion to family and steadfast faith in God provided him strength and tranquility in his final days.
Born on June 8, 1942, in Lebanon, Missouri, to Raymond and Stella Hunt, Allen embarked on a life of love and commitment. In 1964, he united in marriage with Violet Neese. Settling in Gladstone, Missouri, Allen found purpose as a dedicated mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. The couple was blessed with four children. Allen’s children fondly recall him as a gentle father, epitomizing a life marked by unyielding faith and compassion.
In addition to his family, Allen’s benevolence reached far and wide, embracing friends and community members with a genuine spirit of kindness. The positive influence Allen radiates will be remembered fondly, providing peace and inspiration to all touched by his generosity.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Betty, Dorothy, Virgina, Mary Jo, and Ruby; daughter Elizabeth Hunt, and grandson Cingen Hunt.
Allen is survived by his wife Violet; sons James (Cindy), Shawn, and Todd Hunt; twin sister Anna Jane; grandchildren Jessica (Sean), Shelby, and Andrew; and great grandchildren Grace, Deacon, and Annabeth.

Services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 1:30 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1-1:30 pm prior to services.
The family is grateful to the dedicated care providers who supported Allen during his final days. Their compassion brought Allen comfort, and their exceptional efforts are deeply appreciated.
