Beatrice Pearl Price

Bea was born in Macon County, Missouri February 4, 1947, to Ilma and J.L. "Buck" Carpenter. Bea Graduated from Madison C-3 High School in May of 1964. She then went on to cosmetology school in St. Louis. After completion of her training, she then owned and operated her own hair salon, Bea’s Hair Fashion Salon in St. Louis Missouri.

She married Hobart Dale Price, Sr. on July 19, 1969, in Madison, MO. She was a devoted mother to Bart, Garrett, and Steven, staying home to be a homemaker when they were young. She and Dale moved to Kansas City in 2008.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Dale Price and her son, Garrett Price.

Bea made friends everywhere she went, and her love language was acts of service. Her outgoing and kind manner drew people to her. She was always serving others and putting others' needs above her own. Bea knew and loved the Lord.

She was an active member of South County Baptist Church in St. Louis for 25 years where she taught Sunday school and served in the kitchen ministry.

She is survived by her sons, Bart (Paige) and Steven (Breanna); four grandchildren, Cooper, Carter, Cailyn, and Emmett; her sister, Caroline (Mike) and niece and nephews.
