

She was born at home on her family's farm on May 17, 1940. She was a caring, hard-working wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved Jesus, and was a member of Tiffany Fellowship Church in Kansas City for many years. She graduated from Dighton High School, Dighton, KS and attended college at Evangel College, Springfield, MO. Betty moved to the Kansas City area where she worked for Health, Education and Welfare before she paused to have and raise her kids Brian and Kent. In the 1980's, she became a pharmacist technician and this was her career until she retired in 2013.
Betty was born to Bernard and Esther Wear near Dighton, KS on May 17, 1940. She is survived by four siblings: sisters Berdyna (Husband Lou), Belynda (Husband Richard), Bonnie (Husband Jim), and brother Byrl. Betty's parents, two brothers (Earl and Vyrl) and two sisters (Beverly and Barbara) preceded her in death.
Betty married Jewell Naylor on May 5, 1990. They loved each other dearly and they loved their family of four children and all their grandchildren. Jewell preceded Betty in death on July 1, 2015.

• Daughter Stephanie has two sons, Dillon (wife Amber and daughter Penelope) and Dallas
• Daughter Allison and Mark have a daughter, Meredith (husband Brandon) and son, Matthew (wife Lacey, son Thatcher and a daughter on the way)
• Son Brian and Dawn have two sons, Joshua and Nathan and daughter, Ashlee
• Son Kent and Paige have a daughter, Nora and sons, Miller and Cruz
Betty married Clifford Duty in May, 1965 and raised their sons, Brian and Kent.
She has been cremated and services will be held June 1, 2024 at White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone, MO. Visitation will be held at 10am until 11am with a Celebration Of Life to start at 11am.
