Beverly Jean Gibson

Beverly was born April 15, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dene and Karen Brower. She was an Administrative Assistant in the Water Department for the City of Kansas City for over 27 years. Beverly was a very loving, caring, self reliant, devout Christian and a lover of everything cat.

She was most proud of raising an amazing, strong, independent daughter who gave her 2 beautiful granddaughters that were her whole world. She made sure to attend every gymnastics competition to cheer them on! They could always count on her to be at every event they had.

She was very active in her church and sponsored many kids overseas for over 15 years. She regularly received handwritten letters from all the children she influenced, telling her of their life, growth, and "Thanks" for her love and support.

Beverly over the past few years, reassured her friends and family she had been preparing her place in heaven and was ready to be with her Lord when her time came.

She was loved by so many and will be missed by all.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother Karen.

Survivors include her daughter, Ariel (Aaron) Glunt; her father, Dene Brower; her brother, Michael Brower; her granddaughters, Kairi Chambers and Avea Glunt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew.
