Bill W. Wheeler, 91, of, Kansas City, MO, passed away April 16, 2015. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. and funeral services will follow at 2pm Monday, April 20, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; 4 siblings, and his loving wife of 29 years Nadine. Survivors include 5 children Amos “Leon” Broadway (Bonnie); Jerry B. Broadway (Sharon); Roger L. Broadway; Lynda C. Catherell (Lester) and Richard D. Broadway, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 8 great –great grandchildren. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from Armco Steel after 24 years of employment. Bill was a retired Staff Sergeant after 23 years in the Army, where he served in WWII, and the Korean Conflict.
