Bobbie Blaine Ninemire II, 51, of Kansas City, MO, entered the gates of heaven on November 22, 2014. Graveside service will be 3pm, Friday, December 5, 2014 at DW Newcomer’s White Chapel Mausoleum, with visitation one hour prior to service.
Bobbie was greeted in heaven by his father, Gary Shoot; his grandmother, Gwendolyn Tetlow; and 3 nephews. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia Ninemire; mother, Anna Shoot of the home; mother-in-law, Sidney Pennington of Kansas City, MO; sister, Sherry Cline of Centerville, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Linda Biswell (Tim), Angie Johnson of Kansas City, MO; brothers-in-law, Michael Pennington (Stacy), and Larry Pennington (Tesa) of Kansas City, MO.
Bobbie and Patty never had children of their own, but devoted a lot of their time to care for others. Their niece, Trista, lived with them for many years and became like their daughter. Her children, Brenden, Mason, Morgyn and Austin also were very dear to Bobbie. When Trista married and moved out, Bobbie continued to care for the kids during the day, building a strong bond with each of them. The kids would often visit on the weekends; Bobbie always had an extra Little Debbie’s Swiss Roll for the youngest, Austin (that was his baby). This brought joy to his life, to spend time with his great niece and nephews, and when Bobbie found out he was ill, this is the thing he said he would miss the most, not being there to watch them grow into adults.
Bobbie’s relationships with his 3 nephews, Aaron, Colby and Adam were all different. I’m sure each of them could share many memories of their uncle with you. I know he loved spending time playing with them while they were young and teaching them as they grew. Bobbie had 6 nieces, Crystal, Tara, Trista, Robyn, Brandi and Michelle. The girls always held a special place in Bobbie’s heart. Bobbie also had 3 great-nieces and 9 great-nephews that he loved to spend time with. He always took the time to stop and fix a toy or help the kids when they needed it.
Bobbie was injured at work several years ago, and due to this, had to undergo back surgery and could not work full time. However, he always made sure his home ran like a well-oiled machine. Everything in its place, and most importantly, he took care of Patty.
Although he could no longer work fulltime, he enjoyed working with his brother-n-law, Tim, doing his HVAC work. Tim always said Bobbie kept him organized on the job site, sometimes too organized. He would put the tools away before they were finished with them.
Bobbie had many family and friends and will always be loved and missed.
