Carlos L. Arredondo

He was born on July 9, 1933, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Francisca Lara and Dolores Arredondo.

Carlos immigrated to the United States in the 1970s, where he eventually settled in Kansas City and worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He married the love of his life, Simona R. Arredondo, on July 15, 1977. They shared many cherished years together until Simona’s passing in 2013. Carlos was a man of deep faith, and his strong work ethic, dedication as a provider, and devotion to his family were rooted in his beliefs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisca Lara and Dolores Arredondo, and his beloved wife, Simona R. Arredondo.

Carlos is survived by his son, Jesse Perez, and daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Perez; two granddaughters, Alyssa Robertson (Jacob) and Analisa Perez; as well as a host of extended family and friends who will remember him for his strength, kindness, unwavering commitment to his loved ones, and his steadfast faith.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at White Chapel Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur at 2:00 PM followed by a burial with a meal to follow at the funeral home.

The family kindly accepts flowers in memory of Carlos.

Carlos will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
