Carolyn Clare Geran

Daughter of Edward and Louise Wreath, Carolyn was a devoted wife and mother to a wonderful home she endeared. She was deeply involved in the Apostolic Church of Kansas City.

Carolyn graduated from American Airlines Stewardess College earlier in her life. She also worked as a microfilm technician, a private business owner and at the Kansas City Auto Auction. Carolyn had a passion for helping others and was blessed with a charitable spirit for community and family. She was a cheerleader, beauty pageant contestant, volley ball and gymnastics coach. She would greet everyone with a wonderful smile and loved to laugh. She was an avid dancer and loved to travel throughout her life.

Carolyn was married to Michael Geran in February of 1962. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth and husband Michael. Carolyn is survived by her brother Bruce; children Dale, Mike, Mark, Reid and Joel; nine grandchildren Jamie, Chasey, Ashley, Brandon, Shea, Brian, Robert, Ocean and Malone; and many friends.

A celebration of life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 18 at the Weatherby Lake Community Center from 6 pm to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you put on a great song and boogie in her honor.
