Mrs. Carolyn Ann Rutledge, born January 7th, 1950 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Roy and Armilda Strawhacker, relocating shortly after to Nashville Tennessee. Carol had an adventurous, but difficult upbringing. Her struggles became her strength and the philosophy she lived by until her final breath.
Wife to Michael L. Rutledge of Osawatomie, Kansas, Carolyn passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2025 in NKC, Missouri.
Beloved Mother to her four children, Tracy Russell, Danny Walker, Christie Hake and Jamie Stuart. Adoring Grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren! She will be missed by her youngest sister, Kay Brown, of Springfield, MO, as well as a host of many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Preceded in death by her first husband, James B. Walker, her amazing sisters, Wanda, Dorothy and Linda, and her darling granddaughter, Tierra Stuart.
A visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home, located at 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO, 64119. The visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
