Cathern "Jeanie" Jean Deberry

Jeanie was born in Kansas City on October 3, 1949 to Jean and Curtis Norris.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kenneth F. Deberry; 5 children, Chris Pebley (Kathy Pellerito), Patrick (Jamie) Pebley, Tina Boar, Dena (Tim) Caster, and Lisa (Phil) Abina; son-in-law, Joe Boar; 12 grandkids, Joseph and Kayla Boar, Adam and Austin Caster, and Allison Strickler, Maleaha, Alyscia, and Adrian Abina, Natasha, Jordan, Lindy, and Maison Pebley; 4 great grandkids, Charlee Rae, Ben, Braelynn, and Slade; and 4 siblings, Steve (Terri) Norris, Marie Duermyer, Becky Light, and Terry (Zena) Norris.

She recently retired from Charles F. Curry after 28 years. Jeanie loved hummingbirds, country music, and dancing, “running” with her sister, Marie. She was a proper lady and always made sure to take care of her appearance especially her nails. Known by many as the “purse lady” and wearing the proper shoe with her outfits. Her fountain drinks were her power drink for the day and Pepsi was her preferred choice. As children they remember Jeanie going out dancing on the weekends with her best friends, Sandi, Mary, and Kelly.

Most of all she loved her family upon whom she has left an everlasting impact.
