Chris Wendell Christensen 12/22/1918 – 1/13/2015 On January 13, 2015, a beautiful 96 year journey ended, Chris, of Wolbach, NE joined his brothers Robert, Jim, Kenneth, sister Dorothy and wife Lois in God’s graces as they all smile down upon us. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 24th at White Chapel Funeral Home. Gathering will be at 11:15AM with services beginning at 12:00. Humble beginnings on a farm in Nebraska, hunting, fishing, serving our military during WWII in the European theater, becoming a POW, to traveling the world, and his incredibly witty replies all the way up to his very last days...he was a man of honor, and will never be forgotten. A remarkable life we should all dream of living in our short time on Earth. An expert in plaster work (a truly lost art), and skilled in clock making, drywall, plumbing and any area that required dedication…he built himself. Survivors include his brother Willard, son Chris, daughter Linda, step-children Elaine and LD, six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
