Craig Witten Miller, 59, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. Craig was born November 14, 1955 in North Kansas City, MO, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max D. Miller. He grew up in KY and graduated from Owen County High School in 1973 in Owenton, KY. He later moved to Kansas City where he continued to live until his passing. Craig was a fun loving and supportive father, with a love of the Royals, live music and independent films. He was a 28 year Teamster, Local 41 member, retiring from ABF Freight in 2013 after 35 years as a hardworking, dedicated truck driver. Preceded in death by Max Miller of Kansas City, MO, father, and Monte Miller of Kansas City, MO, brother. Survived by Amy Miller, Cody Miller and Eryn Wartenbee of Kansas City, MO, children; Carmen Prewitt, mother; Bill Miller of Columbia, MS, David Miller of Trenton, MO, Shelley Crolley of Union, KY, siblings; CoraLynn Miller of Kansas City, MO, granddaughter and Susan Miller of Kansas City, MO, former wife. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer’s White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch, Gladstone, Mo 64119. Interment will be held Friday, August 7th, 2015 at 2pm, Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 693 NW 45th Ave, Trenton, MO, 64683.
