Dorothy N. Knox, 98, Platte City, MO, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hillview Nursing and Rehab. Visitation and funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, burial at McCullough Cemetery, Triplett, MO at 1:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the Christian Church in Triplett. Mrs. Knox was born December 19, 1917 in Triplett, MO. She was married to Russell Knox. She was employed by National Bellas Hess and then later Knox Jewelry. She was a member of the Triplett Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, in 1989; her parents; sister, Alma Doris Sanders; sister, Juanita Newsom and brother, Howard Shipp. Dorothy is survived by a niece and nephew and 11 great nieces and nephews.
