Earl was a veteran of the US Air Force from 1948-1952. After 25 years of service Earl retired from Armco Steel in 1977. He was born on Oct. 20, 1931 in Ames, IA the son of Floyd and Tillie Redenbaugh.
In 1990 Earl became a Deacon at Bethel Baptist Church. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church in Gladstone. Earl was an avid Royals fan, enjoyed taking care of his roses and spending time with family and friends. In his younger years he enjoyed square dancing, gunsmithing, wood working, fishing and bowling.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Redenbaugh; sons, Earl Wayne Redenbaugh, John Cook, and Daniel Martin; sisters, Lois Potts and Barbara; Gibbons brothers, Ralph and Tommy Redenbaugh; and great grand-daughter, Madison.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia (Wayne) Gerlt and Denise (Charlie) Duff; son, Mark Redenbaugh; brother, Jimmy Redenbaugh; sisters, Jeanie Wallace and Marie McGhee; daughter-in-law, Karen Martin; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be 6 PM Wed. Oct. 3 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO with burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery 10 AM Friday Oct 5, 2018. Memorials are suggested to Blue Hills Rest Home, Indep. MO.
