Eddie Moore Davis

He was born December 3, 1932, in Green City, Missouri and resided in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Robert E. and Dorothy M. (Moore) Davis.

Eddie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was the Shop teacher for the North Kansas City School District for 35 years. Eddie had a true passion in taking the time in helping individual students and firmly believed in contributing to the community and serving his country.

Eddie was a talented master woodsman and left behind many lifelong treasures for others to enjoy. Eddie loved hunting and out fished any one that dared to tag along. He certainly will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Davis; and one sister, Joyce Cummins.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Helen M. Davis; his children, Stuart Davis and wife Daisy; Sherry Davis; Randy Davis and wife Karin; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and close family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Eddie will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the First Christian Church of North Kansas City, 2018 Gentry St., North Kansas City, Missouri, 64116. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to First Christian Church of North Kansas City, 2018 Gentry St., North Kansas City, Missouri, 64116.
