Elizabeth “Bette” 67 of Kansas City, MO passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Norfolk, NE on May 13, 1949 to Frank D. and Lorraine (Dudley) Pischel. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA in 1967 and moved to Kansas City. She married the late Lynn Hensel in March 1982. She was proud that their wedding was remembered by guests as the best party they’d ever attended. She worked as a clerk for KCPL for 30 years where her orderliness and wit were second to none. She was known by all for having a heart of gold and being the life of the party. She was everything to her two daughters. Preceded in death by her husband Lynn; her parents’ her brother Kent Pischel. Survivors include 2 daughters, Becky (Jon) Elliott and Joanna (Mario) Ornelas; her sister, Cheryl Pischel; her brother, David (Donna) Pischel; her precious grandson, Patrick. A visitation will be from 5-7PM, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at White Chapel Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church; Kearney, MO.
