Elizabeth Lucille Lopez

Elizabeth Lucille Huckabey-Lopez, 58, of North Kansas City MO went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Lucy was a lifelong resident of Kansas City. She was employed at Aetna RX-Home Delivery where she was a Pharmacy Technician for many years and had to leave due to her health. She was a woman of strong faith in spite of all her struggles, challenges and tribulations; a woman with a sweet spirit and compassion for family, friends, strangers and her caregivers, she was proud to share her love and faith of Jesus Christ. Lucy attended the First Pentecostal Church of Kansas City, MO for over 30 years. Lucy attended Ozark Bible Institute in Neosho, MO and went on to Export Bible College in PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nora Huckabey; sister, Rebecca Lewis; and 2 nephews, Joshua Leon Huckabey and Joseph David King. Survivors include 1 sister and 3 brothers, Patsy Christ and husband, Carl, of Lathrop, MO, Bill Huckabey and wife, Silene, of Platte City, MO, Paul Huckabey and wife, Allison, of Kansas City, MO and Bob Huckabey of Bowling Green, MO, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be Friday, November 25 from 6-8pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, November 26 at 11:00am at the First Pentecostal Church, 14800 NW Tiffany Park Rd., Kansas City, MO. Thank you to all the staff at Liberty Health & Wellness Center and the hospice team at Three Rivers Hospice for all the great care during this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to First Pentecostal Church.
