

Elmer Ray Aubrey, 81 of Kansas City MO, passed away peacefully at home April 25, 2015. Elmer was the second born of nine siblings on June 2, 1933 to Emery and Ruby (Cunningham) Aubrey. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Aubrey of Gladstone, MO and Keith Aubrey of Richmond, MO. He married Carole Ann Lee of Claycomo, MO, on February 25, 1956. In addition to his wife of 59 years he is survived by his son, Kevin and wife, Nancy, of Kansas City, MO; and daughter, Kathy, of St. Joseph, MO; 7 grandchildren, Damon and Ashley Karther, Dariann and Chris Ricer, Daniel and Jennifer Karther, Devin Karther, Becky and Tanner McGee, Lori and Scott Taylor, and Kenneth Ray Aubrey;14 great-grandchildren. Elmer was a 1952 graduate of North Kansas City High School. Elmer served in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of the U.A.W. Union Local #249. Elmer and Carole for the last 20 winters have gone to Apache Junction, AZ Golden Vista Park and have laughed and cried with many friends and neighbors, especially on Nichols Str. Elmer had a great sense of humor, enjoyed his family and friends and will remain forever in the hearts of all he touched. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Friday, May 1, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the funeral home.
