Emmelie Rodriguez

Emmelie (Emme) Rodriguez, age 18, moved on to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2025. She was born on September 20, 2006, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was an early graduate from Washington High School and a dog mom to Willow. Emme showed a remarkable spirit, always full of life and radiating joy.

She loved reading, painting, music, helping animals, working out, and hanging out with her friends, cousins, and her brother, Eli. She had a passion for human rights and women's rights. As a very artistic and aesthetic individual, she found joy in creating beautiful canvases.

Emme was known for her radiant smile and always bubbly attitude. She was incredibly smart, funny, and possessed a deep understanding of the world around her. She was looking forward to attending college in the fall. She had just celebrated her high school graduation and was excited for the next chapter in her life. Her goal was to become a surgeon. She was willing to take whatever route to get there. She often spoke of not minding being placed in a combat zone if that was part of the process. She was just looking for the most direct and effective path toward medical school and becoming a military doctor.

Emme is preceded in death by her aunt, Bernice Rodriguez. She is survived by her mother, Adriana; her father, Freddy; her younger brother, Eli; and her family.
