

Mrs. Estelle A. (Jenkins) Witt, known affectionately as “Stella”, passed away December 31, 2024. She was born on January 22, 1933, in Kansas City, Kansas to Alfonse and Stella (Blogin) Jenkins. Estelle will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Estelle grew up in Kansas City, Kansas with her siblings Emily, Eleanor, Annette, Bernita, Walter, Jim, Vincent, Philip, and Carol. While she worked at Trans World Airlines, Kansas City, Missouri. She met a man by the name of Thomas (Tom). Estelle misunderstood Tom’s bashfulness as uninterested then realized that Tom had a visual impairment as a result of a childhood injury that left him blind in one eye. After dating for a year, they married on June 22, 1964.
Estelle was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; son, Michael (Munjak); father, Adolf; mother, Stella; brothers, Walter, Jimmy Joe, and Vincent; sisters, Emily, Eleanor, and Bernita.
Estelle leaves a legacy in her sons, Douglas of Naples, Florida, Kurtis and wife Lesa of Kearney, Missouri; daughter, Paulette (Woodruff) and husband Jerry of Overland Park, Kansas; sisters, Annette (Fehn) and Carol (Ladish), brother, Philip (Jenkins); grandchildren, Taylor (Peguillin) and husband Brian of Renton, Washington, Danielle (Wahlers) and husband Justin of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Jacob of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Leah (Bush) and husband Zachary, and Isabelle; and great-grandchildren, Oaklyn, and Thomas.
Services are will be held at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at White Chapel Funeral Home in the Revelations Mausoleum, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119.
