Georgia Anne Cross

Georgia Anne Cross (West), 85, went peacefully to be with her Lord on February 12, 2023. Georgia was born August 1, 1937 in the Kansas City, Missouri area to Richard and Lucille West. She later graduated High School with a Certificate of High School Equivalence. Georgia began working for the Ben Franklin Distribution Center in Kansas City in 1960 where she held various positions for 24 years. She was a very conscientious and dependable person. She later enjoyed working many years for Hayes Hamburgers where her customers knew her well. After retiring, Georgia loved shopping and eating out with her siblings.

Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, a son, and a grandson.

Georgia is survived by her Son, Doug Cross; Grandchildren Brian Cross and Danielle Cross; Siblings, Donna Soehlig, Paul (Carolyn) West, Karen Barylski, Jacqueline (Kenny) Zimmerle, Jack West, and Pam (Dan) Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for Georgia will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM, a Graveside Service will immediately follow, all at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO 64119.

In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Gentiva Hospice.
