He received his degree in electrical engineering at UMKC and designed for the Alameda Plaza, KC Royals Stadium and KU Med Center, to name a few.
Hal lived a vibrant life, obtaining his pilot’s license, authoring books and poems, and teaching his grandchildren to ski at the age of 70.
Hal had unconditional love for his family and will be missed by his family and friends.
Hal is survived by his wife of 71 years; 4 children and spouses; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
