Howard was born June 30, 1964, to the late Lee Huston and Dorothy Tawney. When his father was asked which day was the best in his life, he said it was the day Howard was born. Howard was raised Catholic and enjoyed the Bible and spiritual books. He graduated from Winnetonka High School in 1982 and was a member of the renowned Winnetonka marching band, playing drums. He was active in his youth in the Indian Guides organization. He loved his animal friends, even training one for a magic show. Howard had a close family while growing up with regular family birthday and holiday parties. He went on to care for people as a nursing assistant in hospice care. He was an excellent, experimental cook and those who tried his fare will miss him and cherish his recipes. Howard was knowledgeable in many natural remedies. He was a quick witted, intelligent, opinionated, kind and generous person, with a keen sense of humor and was loved by family and friends.
He leaves his 11 year partner Ronnie Blaker, his sister Kerri Jacks Schubert, his beloved Jonscher cousins, other second cousins and many close personal friends.
May the Lord Jesus take him in His care until we are together again. Amen.
