Janice A. Olsen

Janice was born in Stilwell, OK on February 20, 1939 to parents John B and Orpha (Spears) Fletcher. She graduated from Stilwell High School in 1957 and came to live with her uncle and aunt in Blue Springs, MO. Jan married Larry Olsen on May 30, 1958 in Blue Springs. They moved to live in the Kansas City North area until 1983 when they moved to Liberty, MO. Janice worked for and retired from the Sony Parts Distribution Center in the KC north area. Janice was friendly and could talk to anybody. She loved her garden and knew how to can the vegetables from it. She was a great cook mostly because she took care of her younger siblings when she was living at home. Janice liked to watch Oklahoma University and Kansas City Chiefs football games and didn't want to miss any of them.

Janice is survived by her husband Larry Olsen; son Mark A Olsen (Teresa) of Owasso, OK; brothers Ronald Fletcher (Gwen), Donald Fletcher (Shirley), Roger Fletcher, Neil Fletcher and sister Barbara all in Oklahoma. Grandsons Terry A Olsen (Traci) of Kansas City; Blake Olsen of Palmetto, FL; Kalvin Scott Olsen and Ian Andrew Olsen of Owasso. Two great grandsons Asher Dean and Avery James Olsen of Kansas City.

Janice is preceded in death by parents John and Orpha Fletcher; son Terry E Olsen; brothers Johnny Fletcher, Lonnie Fletcher, and Wendell Fletcher.

A private family inurnment will be held at White Chapel Cemetery.
