Joyce Ann (Key) Hackett, of Kansas City, MO, passed away April 9, 2015, at the age of 75. Joyce was born June 30, 1939 in Waverly, MO. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, James E. Key and Jennie E. Key and one brother, James F. Key. Joyce graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1957. She was a member of the Harlem Baptist Church. She worked for Ford Motor Company in Lenexa, Kansas and spent 25 years as an Administrative Assistant for Toyota at the Parts Distrubutation Center & Regional Sales offices before retiring in 2001. Joyce is survived by two children, Mr. & Mrs. Kevin R. Hackett of Minneapolis, KS and Melissa A. Rhodus of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Jason Hackett, James Rhodus, Dillon Hackett and Mackenzie Hackett; seven great grandchildren, Madi, Brieana, Fait, Trey, Brooke and Michael; one uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Heart of Hale, MO; and numerous cousins. Memorial Services 1:00 to 3:00pm, Saturday, April 18, 2015, White Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to NorthCare Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
