She was born August 24, 1944, in Marceline, Missouri, the daughter of Fred Oliver and Ruby (Ray) Oliver. Judy received her GED later in life. She became a loan processor with many different banks in the area.
Judy married Bob Settles on October 16, 1985, at the Englewood RLDS Church. She was a current member of Barry Christian Church. Bob and Judy enjoyed R.V. traveling later during their retirement years. They spent many winters in Brownsville, Texas. They belonged to a variety of local lodges and enjoyed country line dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Settles, of 38 years; both parents, Fred and Ruby Oliver; and a sister Roseanne Hale.
Judy is survived by her three children, David Fox and wife Georgia; Leonard Fox; Daniel Settles and wife Mindy; one brother, Fred Oliver and wife Donna; grandchildren, Tucker, Addison and Nikki.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the Barry Christian Church food pantry fund.
