Karan enjoyed traveling with her family, highlights being trips to visit Graceland and Savannah, Georgia. Karan also loved making potholders, latch hook rugs, and original art for friends and family and no home was complete without them. In her spare time, Karan was an avid collector of all things Elvis, riding Share-A-Fare for a day of shopping and independence, and enjoyed watching Animal Planet and the Food Network. Karan was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Betty (Goffinet) Pate. Survivors include her sister, Sandra Donnelly (John); 3 nephews, John, Jr. (Tanya), Timothy, and Patrick (Laura); 1 niece, Kimberly; 2 great-nieces, Kelly and Maeve; and 2 great-nephews, John, III, and Timothy, Jr., and many adopted extended family members on the Donnelly side, co-workers, and friends.
