Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Gerald Stewart; parents, Ida and James McKinnis; brother, James Gribble McKinnis; and sister, Geraldine Shields. She is survived by sister, Nadyne Harris; daughters, Cheryl (Chet) Thompson, Karen (John) Dollins and Nellie York; caregiver, Barbara Silkwood; grandchildren, Ben (Haley) Dollins, Gabe (Tiffany) Dollins, Nate Dollins and Sam (Elizabeth) Dollins; and seven great grandchildren.
Billie worked at Macy's for 26 years, which developed into many great friendships. She was a member of Claycomo Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Billie loved sewing for her daughters and took great pride in sewing Barbie doll clothes for Christmas. She was an avid bird lover and a friend to all!
