

Kenneth E. Andrews, 86, passed away May 1, 2015. He married his lifelong sweetheart Viola M. Yardley on May 2, 1949, one day short of 66 years. Kenneth retired from Hallmark Cards after 37 ½ years as a section leader in Building Engineering. He repaired forklifts, all grounds equipment, and occasionally repairing things at the Hall farm. He enjoyed several hobbies including camping, dirt biking, fishing, and all kinds of carpentry and metal work. He collected clocks and many other items. He enjoyed going to garage sales and then giving away his purchases. Kenneth was a generous, kind hearted, loving man. He enjoyed most to help the ones who helped themselves. He will be sadly missed by all. Kenneth faithfully was a member of Winnwood Baptist Church and served several positions there, including ushering, taking care of the baptismal and folding programs every week. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Sylvia Andrews, one brother, Carl. He is survived by his beloved wife, Viola, daughters, Betty (Tom), Carolyn (Mike), sons, Doug (Kathy), and Dale (Pat), 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, and one great-great-grandson, one brother, Forrest, along with numerous other relatives and friends. Kenneth had one famous quote, “Take your time going, but hurry back”. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation or to Winnwood Baptist Church.
