I have so many my good memories of dad.  When I was in college I would call dad collect (before cell phones) crying because I was home sick or struggling with a class. He would always tell me hey look over you shoulder someone is always worst off. It always made me feel better. He had the meanest cat, Cricket, that I have ever met.  Dad loved that mean cat and would laugh when it would  back me up in a corner.  Dad would say Rena Gay and just shake his head because I was  terrible with directions (before  GPS). He once gave me  directions to Sears outlet in Missouri which was 15 ‘mins away and I missed the exit and drove all the way to Kansas and had to stop and call on a pay phone.  I remember him laughing about how lost I can get driving.  Another memory is  Robin and I would always get a stuffed animal. Robin got this fluffy cute stuffed animal and  I got a  hobo old man smoking a cigar. I was devastated. Dad loved that goofy stuffed  thing.  I could go on and on.  I love dad with all my heart and will miss him terribly. My pic is a family reunion pic. We had a lot of fun at our family reunions. 

My Dad taught me so much about life. He taught to be strong and to always look over my shoulder if I thought I had it bad in life because someone else always had it worse.  He was hard headed but so loving at the same time.  We had some rocky times just like everyone else, but we overcame them.  I really enjoyed my talks with my Dad. Every time he got ready to let me go he would say “I love you baby”. I was his baby girl. I’ll miss those words forever. 

Rest In Peace, Dad. Until we meet again....

 I spent  lots of time  at Uncle Kenny’s and Aunt Floye’s growing up. I loved going anywhere in Uncle Kenny’s 78 Red/White Bronco with mud tires and they roared down the road. I would hear him coming a mile away. He had many cars but that was my all time favorite. I have a strong love for cars and I contribute in part from my
Uncle Kenny. 

Uncle Kenny helped me a lot. I remember being pulled out of the mud a few times in my truck and even if it wasn’t my truck I knew who to call. 

I needed a clutch replaced on my my truck that the motor needed pulled in order to install it. So Uncle Kenny had  it in his garage. Tim and I was suppose to help one morning, but we went to high school dance and stayed out all night. The time we got back to the house it was closer to noon and Uncle  Kenny had already changed it. I did feel bad about that. 

I appreciated him and he would come if I called. I called often. 

I loved my Uncle Kenny

Kenny was a man that loved his family and his country.  He was a fierce defender of both and will be greatly missed.

Kenny was a man who loved his wife, his children and grandchildren.  His will be sorely missed by his friends and loving family.
