Laura was born on January 16th, 1959 in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to Felipe Sanchez Hernandez, and Felipa Robles Morales de Sanchez. Laura met her love, Hector, at a newly opened bank they both worked in, in 1979. They married in 1984 and have been lovingly devoted to each other ever since. Laura and Hector had their only daughter, Diana, and set about teaching her the values of love, hard work, and loyalty. Shortly after her birth, Laura moved with her husband and daughter to Kansas City, Missouri. Diana remembers her mother as a patient and kind woman with the strongest work-ethic she knew. She never stopped encouraging both her husband and daughter to chase their goals, and did everything she could to help them achieve them. She was an incredibly brave, intelligent, compassionate woman of Catholic faith, as well as an exemplary wife and mother. She was passionate about the animals in her life, including her own pets, grand-pup, and pets of her loved ones. She enjoyed gardening, singing, mystery and thriller books, and watching her evening shows with her husband. She also had a great knack for shows like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
She is preceded in death by her father, Felipe Sanchez, Mother, Felipa Robles, and Nephew, Luis Carlos Rodriguez. She also joined her daughter in mourning the unexpected death of her loving fiance, Charlie Camp, in 2023.
Laura is survived by her husband, Hector, Daughter, Diana, Sisters; Ana Elsa (Federico Chavez,) Rosa Maria (Jesus Zamarron,) and Luz Maria. Also left to mourn her are her nieces; Rosa Yanira, Laura Guadalupe, Ana Elena, Ana Patricia, Norma Elena, Ana Cecilia, and nephew Jose Alberto. As well as her godchildren, Victoria Elena, Saul Armendariz, Ana Luisa, Rosa Aide, and Yadira Patricia, and many additional beloved nieces and nephews through her marriage to Hector.
