Mrs. Lindsay Dawn Haralson (Haston), 35, died peacefully on November 12, 2021. Lindsay was born on February 19, 1986 in North Kansas City, MO to James and Brenda Haston. Lindsay graduated from William Jewell College in 2009 with a degree in vocal music education. Lindsay married Adam Haralson in 2009. Staying in Kansas City, Lindsay began her teaching career with several schools and daycares in the area. After 3 years of marriage, the couple welcomed one child into the home and Lindsay set about teaching them how to read and bake. Her child remembers her as a loving and caring mother who encouraged her to pursue her goals and never give up. Lindsay was an accomplished singer, cook and baker and often sang at church and baked pies and cakes for family events. Lindsay was a talented individual who loved singing and was passionate about teaching, be it her own child or other children who were left in her care. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church and was active in the congregation when time and her health allowed.
Lindsay is preceded in death by her Grandmothers, Helen Stockton and Lucille Keeton; Grandfathers James Roy Haston, Tom Keeton, Donald Stockton and Floyd Patterson; Sister-in-law Sarah Haralson Beck.
Lindsay is survived by her parents James and Brenda Haston; husband Adam Haralson and daughter Arya Haralson; and two brothers Dave and Alan Haston
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be sent to Fairview Christian Church at 1800 NE 65th St. Gladstone, MO 64118.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gary Thompson and the doctors and nurses at KU Medical Centers for their time, care and dedication to Lindsay’s health and wellbeing.
A visitation for Lindsay will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Fairview Christian Church, 1800 NE 65th St., Kansas City, MO 64118, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
