Una persona muy jovial, alegre, y sempre ayudando  a todos, may trabajador,, invit and a festejar y hacer comidas y su musica mariachi con toda su familia y amigos, inolvidable! Dios nuestro senior lo llamo a  casa, alla esta con el . Gracia Dios por darnos al senior Luis por un tempo en la tierra. Ahora ya esta con nustro Padre.  Que Dios bendiga a toda su familia.

I so much enjoyed being just a little part of Louie's extraordinary life from early on in 1985 when we 1st met. I was somewhat of a mis-guided 17 year old boy that just graduated  from HS, with no real direction in my life, but I was in love with one of Louies daughters, and we enjoyed hanging out there at the house. I also had an unbelievable attraction toward Louie and the entire "family".  I'm sure i probably enjoyed the unmistakeable love and generosity that the entire family bestowed upon me, but Louie, he had his own special way of making me feel welcomed- FOOD ON THE GRILL! I believe Louie always tried to make me feel at home when in his presence, and there was seriously no better feeling to me than being welcomed to and in his home. Louie, indeed had a tremendously generous heart, even occasionally when he was upset with me(just a time or two), His bark was always worse than his bite, but I truly loved Louie like my own father, and very saddened by his passing. I will undoubtedly miss him. Ohh How much i regret  taking time for granted these past few yrs, especially living just blocks away from my beloved father n law, friend and a rare, true gentlemen at that, but I always thought I'd "visit" him and nani tomorrow, or the next day, then b4 I know it, our most precious commodity, time, has slipped away. I will miss u Louie....

Mi querido tío Louis, siempre alegre y cantando, lo recordaré siempre y por haberme recibido en su casa con alegría, memorias…. descanse en paz y que Dios lo tenga en su santa gloria. 

Recuerdo cuando mi tío Luis, iba a chihuahua,, y batallaba mucho con la moneda , para pagar cualquier cosa , y para recibir el cambio , y una ves le hice en un papel el valor del dólar a moneda nacional ! El cada que me veía ! Me daba las gracias!!  Fue un hombre agradecido y con un corazón grande !! Que en paz descanse mi tío luis ! Bendiciones a toda la familia

I remember Luis as my sweet cousin’s husband.  Although we lived apart from each other and did not see each other often, we love and care for all our family.  May God give Arminda and her beautiful daughters peace and comfort ! We love you🙏🏻❣️

I will never forget Luis, he was married to my much loved cousin,  Arminda.  I didn’t see him very often but when I did, I always remember  him playing his guitar and singing at any family occasion!  Rest in  peace Luis, and strength and acceptance to Arminda and his daughters and grandchildren during this difficult time.

Hace un par de días recordaba cuando mi primo Luis venía de Kansas City de vacaciones a la Casa Grande aquí en Chihuahua, México y tocaba y cantaba aquella canción que le gustaba tanto llamada "Vuela paloma Blanca Vuela".
Eran momentos inolvidables.
Descansa en Paz primo y  a tu familia que Dios les de consuelo.


Louis was my godfather and a sweet and gentle soul. I will forever remember and hold him dear in my heart. The brightest and fondness memory I have is of him and his mariachi band mates serenading all of us at my wedding reception in 1985. That was such a special moment for me and my family and my husbands family had never witnessed anything like that! Rest In Peace Louis, you will be dearly missed.  

My favorite memories of you uncle Lou were watching you sing and play your guitar to the music of your Mariachi Band.  I loved going to the fiestas and watching you and your band perform for the people who loved the Mariachi music so much
. It was because of you I got to love the beautiful cultural music of Mexico, I love you, Uncle Louie.
