Lucas was born an identical twin on November 11, 1995 to Terry and Theda Prokos-McGovern. He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School and then attended Vatterott College where he graduated with honors in automotive technology.
Lucas recently moved to Colorado Springs, CO to live with his twin brother, Dillon, and to further his studies.
Lucas was a generous and witty young man. He loved playing drums, was learning to play guitar, and was completely passionate about cars. He was a former ambassador with People to People – an organization that promotes world peace through understanding. Lucas loved to travel and visited several countries in Europe, and many U.S. locations but he especially liked Hawaii. He loved hunting and fishing, and his Kansas City Chiefs.
Lucas is survived by his parents – Terry Allen Prokos and Theda Prokos-McGovern, his twin brother – Dillon Joseph Prokos, his grandparents, Joe and Sue Prokos, several aunts and uncles, many cousins, and his dog, Stanley.
