Mary Ann Thornton

MaryAnn was born on October 24, 1932 to Charles and Ella Kuhlmann in Bruning, NE.

MaryAnn was a Registered Nurse and spent most of her career working at North Kansas City Hospital in the Nursery. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids which included traveling with them. What her family will remember most is the caregiving that she provided for all those she cared about.

MaryAnn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50 years, Kirby.

Survivors include her children, Ricky, Sandy, Tammy Gibson, and Chuck (Marcy) Thornton; siblings, Karis (Shirley) Kuhlmann and Sharon Thomas; grandchildren, Michael, Laura, Kristin, Eric and Aaron; great grandchild, Danavir; special niece, Sally; and several additional nieces and nephews.
