Michael House

Born on March 19, 1963, Michael was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He attended Cooley Elementary and New Mark Junior High School. Later in life, he pursued his passion for working with his hands, graduating from Metropolitan Community College's Advanced Technical Skills Institute in 2013 with a degree in HVAC. Michael had a natural talent for fixing things and was known for his skills in plumbing, construction, and HVAC. He enjoyed spending time with his family, who remember him as bigger than life and loving. In his early years, Michael was active in Cub Scouts, where he participated in pinewood derby races.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, George Ora House; his brother, George Allen House; his grandparents, George and Charlotte House and Cecil and Kathryn Harrison; and his aunt, Linda.

He is survived by his mother, Eunice Lucille (Lucy) House; his brother, David House; his nephew, George Adam House, and his wife, Courtney; and their children, Annalisa and Maddox. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at Riverside Nursing Home for their exceptional care.

A visitation will be held on September 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at White Chapel Funeral Home, located at 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119, US. An In Memorial Service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
