Michael Paden

Michael Dale Paden, Jr., 42, of Kansas City, MO passed away November 16, 2015. Michael led an extraordinary life. He was born in Kansas City, MO & attended Park Hill High School & Maple Woods Community College. He worked for Cutting Edge Dental Lab and married the love of his life, Jodi Ridge in 1994; the couple had two beautiful children. Michael had a heart for God and was a gifted musician and vocalist. He led worship at Park Hill Baptist Church, North Heartland, and Antioch Community & Vineyard Church in the Northland. He was a mentor for new church members and volunteered with a prison ministry in Lansing, KS. Michael had a profound impact on many lives. He was a devoted husband and father, a compassionate friend, a beloved son and grandson & an inspirational teacher. He was said to be “the kindest man I ever met” and was remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He met his diagnosis of terminal cancer in 2014 with grace and courage, never wavering in his faith. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Stephanie Ridge, his grandparents Frank & Elaine Cukar, Billie Paden and John Brown. He is survived by his wife Jodi & his children, Joshua and Taylor, of the home, his parents, Gini Cukar, Mike & Sherry Paden, his sister, April Bonderer and his grandparents, Dave & Micky Paden and Sherry Brown. There are numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, friends & colleagues in the dental community. Our lives have forever been enriched by the privilege of sharing in the life of Michael Paden. Memorial Service 3:00pm Monday November 23, 2015 Vineyard Church 12300 NW Arrowhead Traffic way, Kansas City, MO 64165. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00pm before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Michael Paden Jr memorial fund in care of Platte Valley bank.
