Mitzy was born to Donald and Ruth (Harrington) Morrow on October 20, 1952 in Concordia, Kansas.
On June 10, 1978 she married her true love, Chester Remington.
She was a 1974 graduate of Emporia State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State University in 1977. She would go on to teach 4th grade in both Ottawa, Kansas and Liberty, Missouri.
She thrived at being a grandmother to her four grandchildren and knowing she had another on the way brought great joy to her.
Mitzy enjoyed quilting and sewing knowing these items would be given to family or friends. She found joy tending to her garden and the variety of birds at her feeders. She was active in her church community at Sherwood Bible Church helping with the many dinners and teaching Women’s Bible Study.
Mitzy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lee Morrow and Ruth Ellen (Harrington) Bolton.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Chester; 2 daughters, Katie (Matthew) Lehmann and Julie (Lucien) Isaac; 2 sisters, Kathy Conroy and Cindy Harrington; grandchildren Remington Lehmann, Rhett Lehmann, Reid Lehmann, Alina Isaac, and another Lehmann grandchild on the way; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
