Nanie Mae Foster, 82, of North Kansas City, MO, passed away November 2, 2014. Funeral service will be 11am, Friday, November 7, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Nanie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Juanita Foster and a sister, Patricia Maxwell. Survivors include her sons, Phil and Paul Woods, of Kansas City, MO and Frank Winklarek (Colleen) of New York; sister, Linda Bendure (Raymond) of Liberty, MO; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Nanie was a graduate of North Kansas City High School in 1950, where she was a drum majorette. She was very active in organizing class reunions and was active in teaching piano and played for church services. She will be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice in Nanie’s name.
