Robert Alan Miles

Robert Alan Miles passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 14, 2025 in North Kansas City, MO, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 19, 1963 in North Kansas City, MO. He was 62 years old.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ettie Alice Miles. He is survived by his father, Reverend Robert D. Miles of Gladstone, MO, a brother, Dan Miles of Houston, TX, and a sister, Judy Miles Greener (Joel) of Brentwood, TN.

He was the beloved uncle of Bobby Miles (Jacalyn) of Mount Vernon, IL, James Miles of Houston, TX, Morgan Greener (Makinzi) of Knoxville, TN, Emily Peters (Adam) of Nolensville, TN, and Claire Greener of Brentwood, TN. He also leaves behind a great-nephew, Benjamin Miles and a great-niece, Esther Miles, both of Mount Vernon, IL.

Alan was dearly loved by his family and friends. He had a life full of work, friends, travel and books, but his main priority in life was family. He will be dearly missed by all. He was a member of Randolph Baptist Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. The Memorial Service will be webcast and viewable at 11:00 AM on the White Chapel website. A Reception will follow the service.
