Rose was born on April 7, 1941, in Kansas City Kansas to Francis Michael Cernich and Florence Emma Menninger. Rose married Col. Wallace C Bolen in 1972. They met when they were both working together at the Kansas City Post Office. They had a blended family with six children. She was an active and dedicated member of her sorority, loved NASCAR and often volunteered at the Kansas City Speedway.
She is survived by her four children, fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A small graveside ceremony is scheduled for family members at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone, MO on Friday October 28th at 12:00.
