She was married to Henry (Hank) Hahn, who was an over the road truck driver, so she often traveled with him. The couple settled in Kansas City, MO where Henry started a Mobile home moving and setup business. Rose babysat children for many years until she retired. Those children often had fond memories of her, even after they were grown. She had no children of her own.
She attended Mount Olive Chapel for many years and her church family there loved her dearly. When that church closed, she started attending Northland Abundant Life Worship Center, now known as Kansas City Church and became a member. She loved her church family very much and was affectionately known as “Grandma Rose” to her friends there. She loved on children in the nursery and was also a greeter. She performed that duty even when she couldn’t stand for too long. You could still find her greeting, even if it was in a chair. She would always greet people with a smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ben Barletta, her brother, Sam Barletta and her sister Mary Dibble. She was also preceded by her Husband, Hank.
She is survived by her niece and nephew, Debbie and Art North, nieces, Charlene Aguilar, Eva Reed and nephew ,Kevin Dibble. Her cousins, Beth Hicks, Bonnie Smith and Cindy Irwin. She had many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Rose loved Jesus, her Savior and always worked to be obedient to His will. She is with Him now and is suffering no more. She will be missed, but she is happy because all she ever wanted to do was go home to her Lord, and now she is there, forever.
