Ruth Lorraine Huonker

Ruth was born on September 5, 1928 at North Kansas City, MO to George T. and Marie Kelley.

A graduate of North Kansas City High School. On August 15, 1953, she married Marion U. Huonker. Family and friendships were very important to her and gatherings were something she looked forward too and planned. An avid bowler, square dancer, liked to fish and found passion in the kitchen. She was the matriarch of the family and will be missed dearly.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Huonker; her parents; sisters, Bertha Wallace, Erma Jones, and Elsie Taylor; her brother, Harry Kelley; and great granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Showmaker.

Survivors include her sons, Larry (Jennifer) and Richard (Lucia) Huonker; beloved grandchildren, Kelley, Steven, and Michael Huonker; special circle of family friends, Shelly Snyder and family, Terri Turner and family; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
