Ruth E. Wood died December 23, 2014 in her home in Kansas City, MO. She was born November 12, 1932 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Wood of 63 years, her daughter, Debra Hills of Deepwater, MO; and her sons, Joseph Wood of Raytown, MO; and David Wood of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and J.O. Davis of Wright, AR and an infant daughter, Sandra Wood. Ruth spent her life in service of our Lord, her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all. Services celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the White Chapel Funeral Home with visitation an hour prior to service. Burial will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Liberty Hospice.
